Collaborative missionsto unite participants.
To truly push boundaries while offering a glimpse into the future of gaming, we produced an ARG (Alternative Reality Game), Helios Rampart Initiative that had participants gathering clues and information in real life while interacting with fictional elements set in a virtual universe.
The goal? To build a rocket that would save the planet from an impending solar flare corresponding with Twitch’s 10th anniversary. The ARG was broken down into five separate missions that could only be accomplished through communal collaboration.
This created a unifying and collectively empowering gaming experience. The event culminated with the video launch of the completed rocket.

Surpassingexpectationsby 2,500%.
The game surpassed initial engagement expectations by a whopping 2,500% with a total of 55,000 unique players and 225,000 viewers. High participation aside, what set this campaign apart was the high level of engagement that persisted after the event was over: cumulatively, the event was streamed for a total of 514 hours.
We sought to create new milestones, and with this campaign, we achieved it. We succeeded in breaking boundaries for ARGs by harnessing both new innovations and good old-fashioned fun. The result was something at the vanguard of interactive digital content, while remaining enjoyable and accessible.
